A Word About Today’s Podcast (Feb 25)

Today’s podcast about emotional eating is a topic about which I am very passionate.  We learn so much in the areas of health, fitness, weight loss, etc., but if we have not cleaned out our emotional house, the other knowledge is almost a moot point.

I am feeling very vulnerable because I am going to share with you some of my past struggles, but the most scary for me to share are my current struggles.  The honeymoon period of my program is over and now I am just faced with ME.  I am starting to see the emotional areas in which I need the most work.  I will be sharing these with you today.  Today you find out that I am not perfect.

I am a person who always gives the appearance of everything being okay.  I consider myself a superwoman – in that I’m not happy unless I am doing two things at once – and, my gosh, never, never ask for help.

So I am going to talk about my own emotional eating, which I have actively participated  in the last 10 days or so.  But I will also talk about how I am going to come back from that.

This is still the year of Dori (I talked about this in my first podcast).  I have my focus and will not abandon it.

Update for Feb 11 Podcast

Due to some family events, I will be doing this week’s podcast about cleanses next Sunday, Feb. 18 at 7:30 pm EST.  However, if I am able to do it during the week, I will go ahead and record on an earlier date.

Thanks so much for your interest in Weight Loss Moments.  I have experienced some great feedback in emails and increased downloads of the show.  I hope you find the information helpful.  Take away what you find important for you, save the rest for when you are ready.

Have a great week.

Hey! You made it to my blog!

Welcome to the blog for WeightLossMoments.com.  Every week, I host an interactive podcast on TalkShoe.com, on Sundays at 4:30 pm, Pacific Time.  We discuss various aspects of weight loss, especially for the person with chronic weight issues.  My approach is to support healthy ways to lose weight in the three factors of weight loss:  food, exercise, and state of mind.  We are building a repertoire of tools to make the journey progressively smoother.

Please use this blog to give me updates on your own journey, suggestions for the show, or questions or topics that you would like covered.

Thanks for visiting the WeightLossMoments Blog.
